Aldrich snared for 'Trap' redo
Alcon is remaking the 2007 Serbian film
Matthew Aldrich is in negotiations to write the thriller "The Trap," which Ericson Core might direct for Alcon Entertainment.
"Trap" is a remake of a 2007 Serbian film about an ordinary man who agrees to commit a contract murder to pay for his son's life-saving surgery.

Bas Celik started the shooting of new feature The Woman With The Broken Nose, directed by Srdjan Koljevic. It is coproduction with Neue Mediopolis production and ZDF Arte Tv from Germany. Main actors are Nebojsa Glogovac, Anica Dobra, Branka Katic, Nada Sargin and Vuk Kostic.

Srđan Karanović finished the shooting of his latest film Besa. Bas Celik with Vision Team is coproducing the film with Vertigo film, Slovenia, A.S.A.P. Films, France, Arkadena Zagreb, Croatia and Tivoli filmproduktion, Hungary. Film is also supported by Eurimages.

The Trap received Gran Prix at 2nd Chungmuro International Film festival in Seoul. Michael Cimino, the president of the jury awarded this prize to the film.

The Trap is shortlisted in 9 films for the Academy Award for the Best Foreign Language Film.
